La filla del flequer

Avui començo aquest blog perquè després de molt temps cuinant i provant receptes tinc ganes de compartir-les. M'encanta cuinar i sobretot m'encanta cuinar dolços. També m'agrada menjar-me'ls però podria dir que prefereixo fer-los!

Des de sempre m'havia agradat remenar a la cuina i a més vaig tenir la sort de néixer en una fleca: la fleca d'Esponellà. Des de petita m'he aixecat amb olor de napolitanes, croissants, ensaïmades i sobretot amb olor de pa acabat de fer! Fins hi tot ja una mica més gran tornant de festa els llonguets calents i oberts amb una mica de xocolata eren una delícia!!

Ara fa tres vaig marxar del petit poblet d'Esponellà per anar-me'n a viure a Londres. Vaig venir per estudiar cant, una de les meves grans passions. Londres és una ciutat molt cosmopolita i molt vibrant però també pot resultar una mica freda i solitària. I va ser en aquests moments de solitud en els que vaig començar a aficionar-me a blogs de cuina i a cuinar. Era la meva excusa per estar distreta i de passada convidava els amics a venir a menjar. 

I suposo que tant mirar blogs ara m'ha entrat el cuquet de publicar les receptes que vaig trobant d'aquí i d'allà, sobretot de blogs però també de llibres i d'amics. A Londres tot el menjar és molt car i força dolent, sobretot la fruita i verdura, excepte els dolços: són uns mestres en l'art de les cupcakes i dels pastissos. Aquest és un dels motius pel que aquest blog parlarà sobretot de dolços tot i que també hi hauran altres receptes de menjar en general.

Espero que si hi ha algú com jo, a qui li encanta menjar coses bones i cuinar, que està avorrit o se sent sol pugui trobar en aquest blog receptes delicioses per passar el temps i per compartir!

Today I begin this blog because after some time cooking and baking I felt I would like to share my recipes. I love cooking but what I love the most is baking sweet things. I also like to eat them but I rather prefer to bake! 

               

I have always liked to be around in the kitchen and I was very lucky to be born in a bakery: the bakery of a little village named Esponellà. Since I was a little kid I woke up with the smell of pain au chocolate, croissants, muffins and above all with the smell of bread. 

Three years ago I left my village to go and live in London. I came here to study singing, one of my big passions. London is a very cosmopolitan city, very vibrant but sometimes it can be a bit cold and lonely. It was in one of these moments when I started to look and try recipes from different blogs. This was my excuse to entertain myself and also I invited friends to come and try the food. 

I guess that after this time looking at blogs now I felt I wanted to have my own blog to share my recipes that I have been collecting from different blogs, books and friends. In London the food is quite expensive, above all fruit and vegetables, with the exception of sweets: they are THE masters baking cupcakes and cakes. 

I hope that if there is anyone like me, who likes to eat nice food and bake, or is bored, or is feeling lonely, can find in this blog nice and easy recipes to enjoy and share!
